AWOL

Wow, it's been forever since my last post.  I'd like to say I've been super busy, but that's not the case.  Here are a couple of new layouts I have done.

This layout was made with 'Camping' A wonderful colab made with LightningBug Creations, Shelly Marie Scraps, and Skrapper Digitals at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.  The object of the photo is my grand daughter. 

Here is a layout made for the June color challenge at DigidesignResort.  This is my youngest granddaughter.

I used the kit, Natural Breeze from Digidesign Resort, which is a free kit just for registering at DigiDesign Resort.  Check it out.

Wow, where does the time go??  I have been sooo busy lately, haven't had a chance to blog.  I have another layout from the new kit: Under The Sea by Mah Designs at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.

I really like this kit.  50 % of all profits from the sale of Under The Sea will go to Wildlife funds for the care of animals affected by the dreadful oil spill in the gulf.

More layouts

Boy, May is just trucking along, isn't it?   It is warming up alot here in the state of Texas.  I have a new kit by Mah Designs to tell you about.  With the awful oil spill in the Gulf, she wanted to do something.  So she came up with a new kit entitled 'Under The Sea'.  50 % of the profits from the sale of this kit will go to a wildlife fund that takes care of the animals that come into contact with the oil spill.

Gorgeous background isn't it?  I have another layout waiting for a certain photo.  Will post it as soon as it is completed.  I'll also have a free quickpage for you to download. Please check out Mah Design's new kit and help save the animals and fish in the ocean.  I know we are small compared to the size of the problem, but at least we can do something to help, instead of sitting by and doing nothing.

Scrapping News

I see it's been a few days since my last post.  I have several new layouts to share with you. But first, I wanted to let you know that LightningBug Creations has a new store at Ivy Scraps.  In case you've forgotten what her designs look like, here is her latest kit, Jean Ann's Garden, and the layout I did for her.

Ok, now for some layouts.  I made a layout  last month for a template challenge at Scrapable.  It was just picked to be Layout Of The Week, yipppee!! 

I'm thrilled about the LOTW, but I'm just using the designers items to put together a layout I like.  The designer in this case was RubyLane, the kit is Warm Feeling.  I just love her designs. Check them out!

Earth Day 2010

Just a quick post about Earth Day 2010.  savethegreen.net is having a Blog Hop.  Scoot on over there to check  it out.  Here is a layout I whipped up using one of the mini kits.  This is by Mah Designs at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.

Digital Scrap booking is a great way to go green.  Even if you print your layouts, you will still be using less paper than traditional paper scrapping.  I'm not against paperscrapping, I used to be a paperscrapper.  But if going green is important to you, why not try digital scrapbooking?

I love the combination of soft and bold colored papers in this kit.

New layouts

Wow, I've been gone a few days.  I have a few new layouts to share.  These are challenges I've participated in.

This is a 365 challenge at Digital Scrapbooking Studio.  We are challenged to take a photo each and every day. We are given a free template to use if we want to.  We then must make a layout at the end of the week.  Sometimes it can be challenging to find new photos to take.  This is my latest week of the 365 day challenge.

This was a challenge at Digitals. This is the 'Picture This' challenge.  The challenge was to make a layout about weather.  Since we had a weird winter, I chose these photos.

This is also a challenge at Digitals. This was a scraplift challenge.

One more beautiful morning

Good Morning, hope everyone is scrapping up a storm.  Speaking of storms, we have had beautiful weather the last week, looking more and more like Spring is on it's way, But, we have another winter type storm headed our way, which for NE Texas is very unusual. Snow is again predicted!!  Winter just won't go away!
Anyway, I have a couple more layouts to share today.
